Decorate Shells

Wash/dry shells. Spraypaint gold. Decoupage your favorite images onto the inside of the shells. Spray clear gloss sealer to keep the design pop. Easy! (I also added some rub-on silver finish to the outer edges before sealing).

Decorate with Game Board "Wallpaper"

Decorate a kid's room or playroom with game boards. I picked these up at thrift stores and attached with carpet tacks. The grandkids loved their room, and no game board was duplicated. Lots of oldies - fun to revisit!

Make Cake Pops!

Make a box cake, any flavor you want. Let it cool completely (abt. 1 hr.).

Crumble cake into a large bowl. Stir frosting into cake crumbles until mixture is sticky but not too smooth. Chill in refrigerator, at least 30 minutes.

Roll cake mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls and arrange on a baking sheet. Place 1 lollipop stick into each ball.

Melt about 1/4 cup (any flavor) candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave, about 20 seconds. Dip each cake pop in the melted candy. Repeat melting candy and dipping remaining cake pops. Decorate however you want!

Hint: I make 2 cakes and freeze half of each for later, to get more flavors and get a head start on the next batch a month later!

I make a variety of flavors, and I wrap them individually (wrappers/sticks at Michaels/Walmart, etc.). Let your imagination go wild for your next celebration! Our family and friends love them.
