THE NAZCA LINES, PERU: These enormous geoglyphs were etched into the earth by hand around 2,000 years ago. Were they landing tracks for aliens? It’s a complete mystery!
Located in southern Peru, the drawings are of a complex array of animal, human-like and geometric shapes, some about 1,000 ft long, scattered across 170 square miles of barren desert. Was it an ancient art gallery?. There have been many theories about why the Nazca people would have created such vast works but the mystery just got a little stranger. A new drawing was discovered in October 2020, a 120 ft. cat carved into the hillside. The world’s first space cat? Perhaps. Or maybe just another piece of the puzzle waiting to be revealed.
