Book Recommendation:
Left Neglected. Sarah Nickerson is a busy working executive. One morning, racing to work and distracted by her cell phone, she looks away from the road for one second too long. All the rapidly moving parts of her over-scheduled life come to a screeching halt. After a brain injury steals her awareness of everything on her left side, Sarah must retrain her mind to perceive the world as a whole. Great story of reframing a world, and the people you love in it, to create a "new normal".

Feb 21 – 27: We went hiking at the Fort Caroline’s Timuquan Ravine Trail, where we spotted a HUGE eagle’s nest high atop a tall tree. That was a highpoint, versus the dentist appointment, followed by the annual doctor’s exam, lab work and annual bone scan -- followed by being put on diabetic medicine. Fun week (not). Beaded two bracelets, though, and two necklaces. In the garden, I weeded and transplanted our big lime tree, and have the thorn scratches to prove it. But we ended on a high note by spending Saturday at the ocean and hiking with our dog Gene, who we actually wore out! Wow! Usually it’s the other way around.

Husband of the Week: RainMan
He thinks he's a very good driver, that's why.
Kevin is a romantic driver: He's never met a pothole or manhole he hasn't at least kissed. And that's probably enough said about that....
